Rare, antique Edwardian ivory silk netting and lace wedding/tea dress with Schiffili embroidery. This ethereal jaw dropper is fit with intricate lacework above the waist, gorgeous Schiffili roses and dot work on the cotton netting, double net fabric overlay on the backside with continuation of roses and dot work embroidery. Contains a full length under skirt with a double tier ruffle hemline, another layer of netting with intricate lacework trim and a shark tooth hemline detail. Topped with more Schiffili roses on both sides with little rose buds floating directly above. Fitted with ten fully functional metal hook and eye closures at the upper left hip and waistline, no closures above the waist. Can be worn front to back. Makes for a spectacular ethereal wedding gown, and/or can be worn for future occasions by adding a belt and restyling a bit.
