Antique Edwardian porcelain white silk tulle lace bridal gown with Schiffili embroidery, c. 1914. The bodice is crafted from two layers silk net fabric, topped with intricate Schiffili embroidered roses and small scattered dot work in front and back. Contains two dagger shaped floral lace filets down the center. Cute bib detail on the backside along the neckline. 3/4 length sleeves with triple tiered frills at the arm opening. The skirt is double layered with net fabric, which gives the dress more of semi-sheer appearance. The first layer acts as a liner with a double tiered frilly hemline.
The top layer is adorned with more Schiffili embroidered roses front and back, with an eye popping lace detail hemline. 10 fully functional metal hook and eye closures along the upper left hip and along the waistline, with a few metal snap ins there as well. Redesigned with a baby pink satin bow expertly attached at the waistline.
This beauty is suitable for a spectacular engagement shoot, a bridal shower, wedding rehearsal, or heck - this dress can be worn outside a bridal environment.
