Enchanting, ethereal, and incredibly chic, vintage 1970’s bridal dress made from silk chiffon and Alencon lace in alabaster white. This dress is a one-of-one design that was expertly custom made for a high society bride with exceptional taste. Perfect for those who carry the desire to adorn themselves in a wearable work of art on their wedding day. Especially a piece which no one else could obtain due to the single made design.
This beauty is fit with a Victorian inspired high neckline, a bodice crafted with alternating rows of pleated chiffon and Alencon lace. Down the spine sit 26 functional buttons, all dome shaped and covered in fabric. Each button has been reinforced by hand to ensure longevity. An 8in metal zipper sits directly below the buttons, providing more room to put the dress on and take it off with ease. The airy, dramatic, billowy silk chiffon pleated bishop sleeves are my favorite part of the dress. They give off a Victorian Goddess energy that is undeniably attention grabbing and just a touch seductive. Both sleeves are constructed with lace wrist cuffs, topped with 4 functional dome shaped buttons.
The dress is fully lined in soft, breathable, silky taffeta fabric, topped with double layers of tiered silk chiffon. The bottom tier holds 12 inches of pleated silk chiffon that floats gracefully behind you, allowing you to embody a heavenly angel walking down the isle.
This gown is versatile and easy to style in a plethora of ways, allowing you to wear it outside of a bridal environment. I would wear this to a high tea lunch with friends, to the farmers market with some boots, or to a solo picnic at the park.
