An insanely cool piece, this antique 1940's black silk velvet, hooded cape in is truly something special. The original designer clothing tag is still attached inside. Made by: Korman New York. This cape is constructed from 100% silk velvet that is still so incredibly soft (and expensive), lined in luminous cream silk lining that is fully in tact - which is incredibly rare for garments like this. Topped with comfy hood made from rabbit fur in a cream hue. Adorned with a large velvet dome shaped functional button that allows you to wear this cape both open and closed at the neckline.
The shoulders have a touch of structure to them which adds to the creative architecture of this garment. The lining has no holes, no runs, and has been preserved to perfection - which is very hard to come by. This piece is timeless and makes for a fantastic layering piece during the cooler winter months.

The shoulders have little structure to them so if you shoulders are wider, this would still suite you. Please make sure the neck opening is wider than the width of your neck across.
