Darling Antique Edwardian 1910’s Ivory Silk Mesh Blouse & Skirt Two Piece Set with Hand EmbroideredLace Details - One-of-One | Re-Worked in House

Heavenly antique Edwardian c. 1900’s silk mesh blouse and matching skirt set - re-worked in house by my tailor. This dreamy ivory two-piece ensemble features a sheer silk mesh blouse with intricate and uniquely placed lace paneling and double tiers of intricate lace detailing towards the bottom skirt hemline.   

Designed with a Victorian high neckline that is made of lace, finely detailed lace insets on the chest area, with airy long sleeves, with ruffle lace wrist cuffs. Each wrist cuff contains two metal snap-ins, allowing you to style the wrists open or closed.  The backside carries metal snap in’s down the spine, from top to bottom, allowing you to put on and take off this blouse without a hitch. The blouse’s bottom hemline was sourced completely raw and falling apart, so I sourced some antique lace trim and my tailor attached it onto the hemline. 

The skirt’s old elastic waistband was replaced by my tailor, by adding a new, stretchable and sturdy waistband which can fit a range of sizes. The bottom of the skirt is fitted with two tiers of layered lace trim with meticulously embroidered by hand bow motifs and tiny star bursts to add a touch of elegant detailed charm.

Perfect for collectors, editorial styling, bridal inspiration, or lovers of historically romantic fashion. Although this set is over 100 years of age, the design is timeless, making this an easy go-to-outfit for spring/summer and a fantastic ensemble for layering in cooler months. 

Side note: I also implore you to wear the blouse “backwards” (with the metal snap in’s in front) so you can wear it open at the neckline and style the blouse with layers of antique necklaces.
