Darling Antique Edwardian Blouse & Skirt Two Piece Set Made from Silk Mesh with Lace Details One-of-One

Ethereal antique Edwardian c. 1900’s silk mesh blouse and matching skirt set in the softest ivory tone. This dreamy two-piece ensemble features a delicate sheer silk mesh blouse with intricate lace paneling throughout the blouse and skirt. 

Designed with a Victorian high neckline with finely detailed lace insets the blouse is fit with airy sleeves finished with dainty lace cuffs. Double metal snap-ins on each wrist cuff, allowing you to wear the wrists open or closed.  The backside carries metal snap in buttons down the spine, and frankly this allows you to wear the blouse backwards as well - depending on the look you're going for. The coordinating skirt flows beautifully with layered lace trim and the sweetest bow motifs meticulously woven throughout, adding a feminine charm. The stretchable skirt waistband was replaced by my tailor, and the lace hemline attached to the bottom of the blouse was also added separately. 

Perfect for collectors, editorial styling, bridal inspiration, or lovers of historically romantic fashion. Although this set is over 100 years of age, the design is timeless, making this an easy go-to-outfit for spring/summer and a fantastic ensemble for layering in cooler months.
