Effortlessly elegant, and beautifully preserved, this original antique 1930's silk charmeuse slip gown is crafted with a high level of delicate lacework in a soft bone-white hue. Cut on the bias with a classic empire waist, the gown drapes effortlessly against the body, creating that signature fluid 1930s silhouette. An exquisite embodiment of the Golden Age of Hollywood, this gown evokes the refined glamour, romance, and effortless sophistication of the era’s most celebrated screen sirens.

Contains a romantic sweetheart neckline, with delicate ivory Alençon lace shoulder straps which lead into an intricate lace bodice that is adorned with silky-satin ivory floral motifs. A sheer, striped, silk chiffon detail insert adds an elegant touch of texture and overall unique design to the bodice.

An exquisite choice for the bridal morning whilst getting ready, this gown lends an air of Old Hollywood romance, perfectly reflective of the intimate moments before walking down the aisle.
