Elegant, chic, antique 1890’s Victorian Mourning black silk net and lace boned blouse with floral appliqués, stunning embroidered vines and florals. This blouse is fit for the days you want to fall like a dark, yet romantic, with both stand-out and classic beauty This is easily not just the most beautiful antique mourning blouse I have ever seen/sourced, yet sourced, it is by far in the best condition. No cracks in the pure silk lining, all of the metal hooks are in tact (not rusted), there are no pulls or holes in the fabric, and the cut out pieces of silk on the bodice and high neckline are all in tact - how rare is that?!

Classic Victorian high neckline, constructed from silk cut outs sewn together that extended into the upper bodice, which really creates mesmerizing, yet ethereal design. Black rose appliqués placed on the frontside that circle around the backside. Unadulterated boning found along the inside of the piece, in a condition that has been preserved so well, coupled with the inner silk lining not having any cracks, this over 120+ piece is here to stay and has lot's of life left.

The sheer balloon shaped half sleeves are embellished with hand-embroidered florals and vines. Darling trumpet frilly wrists that carry the same embroidery. There are hook and eye closures placed strategically in front of the garment, they’re all in tact, functional, and not visible.
