Antique 1920’s Art Deco Inky Black Silk Lace Dress with an Added Vintage Collar Cuffs Matching Set - One of One

Elegant, chic, with a touch of whimsy, antique 1920's Art Deco inky black silk lace dress with a unique, shark tooth capelet detail design.

This beauty contains a v shaped front neckline, a pin tuck silk chiffon bodice, topped with 7 black faceted glass buttons, with a metal snap in and 1 non functional matching button at each wrist. Drop waist design that is constructed with a pin tuck silk chiffon cut out. This is a pull over dress so there are no closures. One of my favorite elements of this piece is that it can be worn with the caplet in front and buttons in back, adding styling versatility and effectively allowing you to wear what will appear as two different dresses. 

I turned this into a re-worked, one-of-one piece, as I added an early mid century vintage cream tone pleated silk organdy collar with matching wrist cuffs.  The collar contains one metal snap in on the backside, and each wrist cuff also contains one metal snap in, allowing you to fully remove these pieces and wear them with other garments. Includes the original lace made belt with a rhinestone buckle.

When I styled the collar and wrist set with this lace gown, I quickly realized they're a match made in heaven. Please note, the vintage collar pin with two gold leaves and a chain are not included. If you would also like to purchase this pin, please message me so I can make that happen for you. 

This dress is worn by a women's size XS and a women's size M. Suitable for all sizes between XS-M. Refer to measurements to ensure a perfect fit.
