Antique 1920’s Georgette Silk Dress in Rose Petal Pink with Silk Mesh Embroidered Flowers

Ethereal, timeless, with incredibly meticulous details all over, this antique 1920’s dress made from 100% Georgette silk is an era defining, lightweight garment characterized by sheer, dull-finished, and slightly crinkled silk which drapes softly on the body. The color of fabric is feminine rose petal pink tone, contrasted against cream silk netting with hand embroidered flowers all around the bodice.

The left side of the bodice contains hook and eye closers along the silk mesh, allowing you to easily put the dress on and take it off without having to worry about ruining the integrity of the dress. The half sleeves with trumpet hemlines, the pleating along the torso and sleeves, and pearl buttons top sit atop a strip of rose petal pink Georgette silk attached to the cream silk mesh. This dress is over a 100 years of age and has been preserved to perfection.

Excellent vintage condition. No visible imperfections, the silk is still supple and soft. Not a single pin sized hole. Price reflects rarity and condition.
