An exquisite, antique 1940's lingerie slip dress or evening gown crafted from rich inky black transparent, 100% silk chiffon. The inside backside neckline is topped with the original designer tag which reads: Black Lingerie by "Blanche." Completely legible and preserved to near perfection. Cut on the bias, this flattering silhouette skims the body beautifully. Constructed with a quintessential 1930's empire waistline, with flowing silk chiffon ribbons that gracefully tie into a bow in back, giving your figure a tasteful feminine touch.
The romantic bodice features stunning French lace with floral motifs that continue into the shoulder straps, framing a striking diamond-shaped cutout adorned with a delicate black satin bow at the top and with a second satin bow with flowing ribbon tails set at the bottom of the diamond shaped cut out. The skirt is finished with a subtle slit at the hem midway for graceful movement, while the rest of hemline contains matching black floral lace trim for an elegant finishing touch.
