Ethereal and exquisitely preserved, this antique Edwardian c. 1910s dress is a true embodiment of a unique early 20th century design on an everyday garment. Crafted from airy, snow-white cotton fabric, delicately adorned with classic Swiss dot embroidery, lending a soft texture and subtle and unassuming dimension throughout. This Swiss dot embroidered fabric was very rare to work with due it’s high cost to source, and was primarily utilized by the upper echelons of society. Horizontal line details down the bodice, and a darling lace lined collar with a bibbed back.
The silhouette is light and graceful, with a timeless femininity that defines the Edwardian era. At the waistline, original metal hook-and-eye closures are thoughtfully concealed beneath the fabric, maintaining the gown’s seamless, flowing appearance while ensuring functionality.

Seen on XS unpinned. Best suitable for a woman's size XS or XS/S. Very easy to add a couple inches to the waist - just ask as I can make this happen.
