Beautifully luminous, antique 1930’s/40’s silk satin slip dress in a peachy pink hue with Alencon lace inserts, flutter sleeves, and a darling keyhole detail in the front middle neckline, tied together into a bow with silk ribbon. This luminous beauty is made from 100% silk and is very soft to the touch. There is a legible clothing tag attached inside which reads “”, which is such a rarity! The darling flutter sleeves and arm openings are lined in lace. Backside is fit with a lace lined, deep V neckline. On the backside of the skirt there is a small hand cut and sewn, flower shaped appliqué made of Alencon lace. Cut on a bias, which gives the wearer a flattering, body elongating, feminine silhouette. This slip has been exceptionally well preserved; I’m continually amazed by the longevity and craftsmanship of clothing from this era.
