One-of-one Chic Vintage 1970's Tweed Wool Blazer with Hand Sewn Mother of Pearl Buttons - Reworked by Me

Timeless, chic, vintage 1970’s tweed wool blazer with mother of pearl buttons hand sewn on by me. Made by: Irving Scheckter Original of California (awesome clothing tag still attached inside). Exceptionally constructed with a flattering, 1940’s inspired hourglass silhouette and structured masculine shoulders. This garment is fit with a unique double layered collar, four fabric functional buttons down the front, two front pockets, fully lined in Skinner rayon satin lining. I sourced a collection of antique mother of pearl buttons and hand sewed them onto the blazer, one by one, on both pockets and the lower level of the collar. The tweed wool is extremely soft, as is the silky rayon lining, and this garment is in exceptional condition considering it's age. Seen on XS unpinned. Suitable for an XS-M.
