Classic, chic, vintage 1970’s tweed wool blazer with mother of pearl buttons hand sewn on by me. Made by: Irving Scheckter Original of California. Exceptionally constructed with a flattering silhouette. This garment is fit with a unique double layered collar, four fabric covered buttons down the front, two front pockets, fully lined in Skinner rayon satin lining. Structured shoulder pads that give shape, yet are not too dramatic, synched in waist. I found a collection of antique mother of pearl buttons and hand sewed them one by one on both pockets and the lower level of the collar. The tweed wool is extremely soft, as is the silky rayon lining, and this garment is in exceptional condition considering it's age. Seen on XS unpinned. Suitable for an XS-M.
