From my closet to yours, arguably my favorite dress I’ve ever sourced. This ultra rare antique 1930’s Swiss dot, bias cut, floral beauty hits all the marks. Made from very breathable, light wearing 100% cotton fabric and is soft soft SOFT. Swiss dots all throughout, floral patterns in navy, lemon, candy apple red and grassy green petal prints. Classic 1930’s empire waist, with a silhouette that slims down the body and elongates the leg. The backside has a criss cross design and the frontside has a v neckline.
Metal zipper on the left side. Circle skirt panels to add dimension and a flow. I purchased an 1940’s ivory taffeta skirt to wear underneath this dress to really round this entire look out. Happy to sell the skirt with this dress, just ask. Would make for a perfect secondary dress for a wedding occasion worn by the bride or a guest. This dress has been preserved to perfection, not a stitch out of place. I’m forever impressed by the fact that pieces were made to last and stand the test of time.
