Ultra rare, NRA elegant and chic 1930’s bias-cut slip dress made by: Wonder Maid Mutual Garment Company. Located in St. Louis Missouri, the company began in 1916, and tag that is attached to this beautiful gown dates back to the 1920’s. Elegant and chic, this beauty is made from pale pink 100% silk satin fabric with antique floral lace inserts, light mint green lace lining along the arm holes and neckline, hand finished details. Deep V neckline in back with a cute little keyhole, ties in back at the waist. Incredibly versatile, this beauty makes for perfect getting ready attire for a bride, worn for a a dinner date, a picnic at the park or while walking your dog. These slip dresses have a special place in my heart due to how easy it is to throw one on when you feel like you have nothing else to wear.
At the center front I attached an antique 1900's silk cream flower with fine metallic lace pieces and tangerine colored pistils. I sourced a set of these flowers on a whim, hoping that one day I would find the perfect garment to carry these special little detail. These flowers cost a fortune back then and still do now. Underneath the flower I attached two baby blue 3D satin roses. All additions are hand placed and stitched.

Condition: Excellent antique condition. No visible imperfections but still is still nearly 100 years old. Price reflects condition, rarity, and re-work additions.
