Luxurious Vintage 1970’s Mink Patchwork Fur Coat with Leather Accents

Absolutely stunning and elegant vintage 1970’s mink fur patchwork coat with camel tone leather accents. Sourced from the original owner, this was a custom made piece by: Canadian Fur Co. This one-of-a-kind beauty contains monogrammed initials on the inner right panel. Which on its own illustrated that this coat was owned by woman of high society. I get so excited sourcing coats with monogrammed initials  because the designers always go the extra mile to create clothing that cannot be duplicated.

The outer layer is made from rectangular scraps of mink fur sewn together vertically. The colorway reminds me of a Fall day with it’s hues of espresso, tan, mocha, caramel, black, spots of grey and bone white. The coat is fully lined in a luminous silk rayon fabric with a chic retro 1970’s checkered pattern. The craftsmanship of this fur coat screams meticulous attention to detail with its elegant and timeless architecture both on the inside and outside. Topped with four functional buttons down the front, with two deep front pockets lined in matching retro silk rayon fabric. Perfect for keeping your hands warm on a particularly chilly day.

This beautiful coat is flawless, the fur doesn’t shed, and the design is timeless. Stored in a plastic case away from light and any other elements found indoors. Best fits a size M, seen on an XS/S unpinned.
