Iconic, and Rare, Vintage 1960's/1970's Penny Lane Lace Up Boots in Black Suede Leather with Embroidered Flora and Vines - Jerry Edouard Style Boots - Size 6/6.5

Insanely rare, highly coveted, and a closet staple for collectors and lovers of 1960's/1970's lace-up boots, these Penny Lane knee high boots made of 100% black suede leather are a holy grail find. If these were my size, I would never sell them and keep them in my personal collection as they are so easy to style with a plethora of looks, and because they are SO hard to find - especially a pair that is exceptionally preserved like this. 

These boots are constructed from soft and supple, yet thick and durable, rich in black hue suede leather fabric without any sun damage. Bright green embroidered vines snake around the colorful embroidered tulips. The decorative side the boots contain meticulously placed, hot pink, tiny faceted luminous stone details. Black shoe laces woven through round brass hooks, tapered toes, fit with a cuban heel. Suede leather upper with man-made interior and Neolite soles. 

The second to last photo displays original markings on the inside of the boot showing sizing and design information, which is reflective of the way Penny Lane lace-up boots were stamped in the 1960's/1970's - further proving that these are the real deal. 

These are reminiscent of the iconic Jerry Eduard embroidered boots - which are priced at $3-$7k via various websites. A true walking piece of history and perfect for serious collectors. Only a handful of these replicas available on the planet (which again, brings me back to my statement that if they were my size, I would never sell them).

These are a size 4B, made in England, and a size 6/6.5 in women's US sizing. The "B" stands for Medium (whereas A would be most narrow..etc). Please refer to measurements to ensure proper fit.

Calf: 11" around the calf, can be adjusted to fit a larger calf with the laces

Condition: 
Excellent vintage condition. The laces appear and feel brand new - which leads me to believe these shoes were worn minimally. Remarkable preservation for age - the suede is soft and does not carry any notable damage, and the embroidered flowers and vines are saturated in color. Price reflects rarity and condition.
