This is a rare one folx. For all of my whimsical fairies who collect antique slip dresses, this is THEE 1930’s slip you need in your collection. I’ve never seen a color-way like this on an antique 1930’s/40’s slip dress, until I sourced this beauty. Constructed with a bias cut hemline, which by far offers the most flattering silhouette in comparison to other cuts.
The neckline features an adorable pointed mint collar, contrasted against the antique French Alencon lace in a burnt umber fabric color, with added silk appliqués of flowers, leaves, and vines. Darling shoulder cap sleeves with a light puff. Classic 1930’s inverted soft V shape empire waistline, with light pleating above the waistline to give your chest that extra umph. Topped with silk waist ties that can be tied into a bow in back or front, both options are flattering to your form. V shaped neckline in back.
