Iconic and rare, vintage LIVE AID t shirt c. 1985. Perfect for collectors. A true vintage original shirt from the event, tag still included. This T is perfectly worn in and SO soft to the touch. This piece is saturated with a rich meaningful history behind it. As seen online, Live Aid was a benefit concert, organized by Bob Geldof, that raised over $300 million for famine relief in Ethiopia. This event was held simultaneously in London and Philadelphia inside two jam packed venues and 2 billion viewers tuning in from home. The lineup featured more than 75 acts including Elton John, Madonna, Queen, Santana, Run DMC, Sade, David Bowie, the list goes on. It’s wildly believed that out of all the rock legends that performed, Queen stole the show with Radio Ga Ga - I highly suggest watching this particular performance on Youtube, if you haven't already seen it.
