Stunning vintage 1970’s Mongolian sheep fur coat jacket in Oreo. A cozy, must have garment for those who are connoisseurs of vintage furs, love 70’s boho-esque style, and for those with a penchant for owning pieces no one else will have. Designed by: Jacques Saint Laurent. This particular curly haired Mongolian jacket is a stand out from others due to the unique color way patches of cream, light brown, chocolate, and deep espresso fur. I’d like to think the color combo resembles an Oreo cookie.
The natural curl and movement of the Mongolian lamb give this jacket its unmistakable texture — luxurious, dramatic, and unmistakably glamorous. The sheep fur is incredibly soft, and has been preserved extremely well considering age and fur type. The interior is fully lined in cocoa silky satin fabric with an embroidered VAR monogram on the inside right panel. Giving it a bespoke, couture feel. This jacket was clearly owned by someone from high society as monograms were (and still are), a very expensive add on detail. Functional yet elegant, the jacket features two front pockets, lined in matching silky satin fabric, topped with a single mid-front clasp to create a clean silhouette. Suitable for sizes XS-L.
Seen on XS unpinned. Fit's a variety of sizes, please refer to measurements to ensure proper fit.
