This moody, romantic, sultry vintage 1960s slip dress carries whispers of Hollywood glam. Considered to be a rare find due to the black fabric color (which is an uncommon tone for these pieces). Made by: Powers Model, original clothing tag still attached. The bodice is made up of dreamy lace, square neckline in front and back, detailed with delicate tulle at the shoulders for an ethereal finish. Rosettes accent the bust and shoulder area, adding a soft, sculptural touch of contrasting tones.
Built with a 1930’s inspired empire waistline that has elastic running through it, allows for a form fitted yet flattering silhouette. Slightly sheer, I recommend a skin tone body suit underneath, or various forms of black body suits underneath if you’d like to wear this out into the world. Lastly, one of my favorite points of detail is the lettuce hemline at the bottom of the pleating. Adds a perfect flare of elegance. Marked size 34.
