This exquisite bridal head piece dates back to 1954 and was purchased from the original owners son. This beauty features delicate, pearlescent wax flowers, all arranged and sewn to the halo band by hand. Which perfectly exemplifies the meticulous artistry of past bygone eras, creating a soft, angelic, turn of the century wedding headpiece.
The flowers are carefully fastened by a silk-wrapped headband, with two small orange/brown combs attached at each side of the head band, allowing you to have some mental comfort knowing that the headband is pressed in place.
A rare and enchanting heirloom, perfect for the bride who dreams of weaving history and romance into her wedding day ensemble. Additionally, this halo can be worn outside of a wedding day setting, as it’s suitable for a bridal shower, engagement photos, and/or a rehearsal dinner. Excellent vintage condition. All flowers are in tact, no discoloration. Combs are tightly wrapped and sealed onto the headband.
